Who is the Hancock County Addiction Coalition?

It is an organization of individuals from the community including members of law enforcement, education, clergy, recovery support groups, public health, health care, mental heath and the general public.  This coalition has concerns about the effects of substance abuse and addiction on the local community and have joined forces to support and treat those struggling with addiction.  In addition, we offer educational programs in the community and in local schools to help prevent new instances of substance abuse and addiction.

How is HCAC funded?

HCAC is funded by grants and private donations contributed to the Memorial Hospital Foundation and designated specifically for supporting the programs and events provided by the Hancock County Addiction Coalition.
